FranksGiving - A Tribute to Sinatra and The Crooners Indio Concert reviews
Good show.....but
FranksGiving - A Tribute to Sinatra and The Crooners, as usual, rocked. Their set list and stage show were superb. They played their butts off, and I would have expected nothing less. The sound quality was horrible at times while sitting in section 204 at Superpages. We joked that they should shoot the sound guy. The blistering multiple leads and Bruce Dickenson's vocal, things that I like about FranksGiving - A Tribute to Sinatra and The Crooners shows, were just not there. The sound mix left a little to be desired, even though the boys were playing their butts off. Nicko sounded great but the drums were way too hot in the mix. The drums and bass were the only things that we could hear quite clearly. We could barely hear Adrian Smith and Janek Gers. Actually, the only guitar that was up in the mix was Dave Murray. There were times when we could not even hear Dickenson's vocals. So, while the stage show itself was first rate, the sound that makes FranksGiving - A Tribute to Sinatra and The Crooners just did not come through the mix.
